CANDLE CARE

The rules for proper candle use aren't just random — they're essential!

BEFORE BURNING:
Always trim your wick to approximately 5mm, or 1/4 inch.
Place the candle on a safe, stable surface, and away from flammable objects.
Keep the candle out of reach of pets and children.

DURING BURINING:
To maximize the candle's scent, avoid opening multiple windows in the first 30 minutes.
Burn up to 4 hours at a time — too short can cause "tunneling" while too long can be unsafe.
First burn: 2.5-3 hours for an even melt pool. After that, burn at least 2 hours. If the flame’s too big, extinguish, trim the wick, and relight.
Do not burn a candle all the way down. Stop burning when 10mm of wax remains to prevent overheating.
Never leave candles burning all day or overnight — it can crack the jar or start a fire.

AFTER BURNING:
Make sure the candle is fully out with no ember glow before leaving.
Allow the candle to cool completely before moving.
Store the candle in a cool, dark, dry place away from direct sunlight.
