“ONNI” is the Finnish word for “Happiness and Luck”, and that’s what we hope our candles bring you. Hand-poured in a charming small town near Amsterdam, our candles are made with love using vegan, non-toxic ingredients and come in eco-friendly packaging. Deliciously scented and stylish, they are perfect for gifting or treating yourself.
A little bit about us
We’re two girls living in the Netherlands with a shared passion for great food, fresh bakery, and delicious drinks—and an equal love for candles. One day, we thought: why not combine them? And that’s how our candle journey began.
In 2024, we discovered candle making, and it completely transformed our creative world. We spent countless hours experimenting, refining our craft, and committing to use only ethical, high-quality materials. From day one, our mission has been simple: create candles that not only look beautiful but burn beautifully too.
It hasn’t all been easy—there’s been plenty of trial and error, moments of frustration, and lessons in patience. But with every tiny improvement, our excitement only grew.
Today, we specialize in both timeless amber jar candles for everyday use and ultra-realistic creations inspired by martini, lattes, and irresistible foods. Each candle is handmade with full attention to detail, and only reaches you if it makes us smile first. We hope our candles bring a little joy and make your everyday a touch more special.

Why do we use rapeseed wax?
We use rapeseed wax because it’s a natural, sustainable, and eco-friendly choice. Sourced from plants grown in Europe, it burns cleanly, lasts longer, and holds fragrance beautifully. Rapeseed wax is biodegradable, renewable, and supports a lower carbon footprint—making it a responsible and high-quality option for our candles.
Do candles have a shelf life?
Candles don’t expire, but for the best scent and performance, we recommend using them within a year of purchase. Over time, fragrance can fade and wax may burn less evenly—so don’t wait too long to enjoy your favorites!
Can I send a gift to a friend or loved one?
Yes—our candles make thoughtful, personal gifts. We never include pricing in the package, only a simple itemized receipt. Want to add a personal message? Just type it in the order notes section before checkout—we’ll make sure it's highlighted for the recipient. And don’t forget to enter their shipping address if you’d like the gift sent directly to them!
Stolen Packages, Delivery Issues, or Incorrect Addresses:
If your package is marked as delivered but goes missing, or if it’s delivered to the wrong address by the shipping provider, we know how disappointing that can be—but unfortunately, it's out of our hands. In these cases, you’ll need to file a claim directly with the carrier, as they are responsible for the final delivery. To help avoid issues, please ship to a secure, reliable address.
Please always be sure to double check your shipping address at checkout. If an incorrect address is entered and the package is returned to us, we’re happy to resend it—however, there will be extra shipping fee to cover the cost of sending it out again.
What if my order arrives broken or damaged?
If this happens, we've got you covered. Please email us ASAP with the following photos:
- A photo of the damaged item up close
- A photo of the box, showing all packaging used to protect the item
- A photo of the shipping label on the box
